What's not to love about this fab look for winter 2011?! Let me count the ways:
1. Rasberry - we love it in sherbet and in particular on this gorgeous wool classic
2. The buttons - we told you the pessamentry would become focal...BLING!!!
3. The ruffle gives this a feminie quality that is soft and elegant
4. Color blocked with this terrific black and white plaid
What's not to love?!
And just think of how this transcends to the home.
Black base cloth with contrast welt, rasberry chenile throw and embroidered toss pillows,
oh the possibilities!

Fashion Week in New York always presents the most exciting designers and freshest looks and ideas. I would be remiss in not sharing some of the most interesting finds in fashion this week, like this Artcessorie!
Artcessories are beautiful, wearable works of art.
The canvas....the little black dress.
Need I say more?
I see Artcessories influencing home decor by way of scale. Future forward, look for oversized hardware designed to add a little bling to an otherwise ordinary case piece.

I have an affinity for all things coastal...yep, I have a coastal crush! The crush of surf pounding waves creates a rhythm indicative of life on the shore. Mornings spent scouring the beach for sand dollars, not the kind of monitary fulfillment I leave behind when I escape to the shore, but for the moments...moments lost in the journey.
Discovering how the colors of seaglass and the texture of coral are some how contradictory and unexpected yet complimentary in the coastal home. Combining soothing hues of blue in contrast to the starkness of white or in a more rustic rough hewn familiarity of drift wood and sand give a feeling of worn to perfection familiarity - the crush continues.

Aaah, the best of both worlds....elegant coastal colors are soothing and when combined with the 'scripdillyicious" fabrics we create a casually elegant room that is unpretentious! This describes some of the recent trends we have been falling in love with! Hmmm, also lov'in the zebra rug too, not in your face but subtle grey hue which is stylish and chic!

Big, small we love them all!
Sciptdillycious!
Fonts in every size, style...typeset, script.
On fabric, on pillows on apparel to get your message across!
What would you say?

Tangerine is showing up again this time paired with Kiwi. Summers here and the living in easy and juicy citrus colors lead the trend in outdoor fabrics. Set against a neutral background these colors and textured fabrics add character and interest to this outdoor chaise!
Ahhh, refreshing summer color! Taking a que from fashion this assortment of turquoise and tangerine are compliments by sunny yellow hues. They are tactile and elegant with a soft hand creating feminine sophistication.
I had so enjoyed the calming colors of coastal influence that I decided to create a sea glass table scape for this summer. It's funny how you can take something old and make it feel new again and this refreshing color palette is the perfect feel for a balmy weekend.
The monochromatic scheme is highlighted with touches of brass giving a casual elegance to the breakfast nook!
