We just experienced the second of two snow storms this season. While waiting for the snow to melt and the school to re-open we enjoy the beauty, but look forward to spring.  Entertaining out door comes early at out home.  Our yard is enclosed by trees whose foliage creates the kind of privacy that lets you escape to the forest if not just in the kind of quiet that creates peace of mind.  The lake provides an orchestra from the life in our cove as frogs and crickets will soon create a harmony not only in their song but in nature that we long for this coming spring.



Unlike many southern homes, we put screens on our windows to let in the fresh air after being cooped up during the winter months.   The snow how ever creates a freshness we enjoy, but are thankful it doesn't last.
