A not so formal dining room

Furniture pieces collected over time are layered in to add texture.  My dining room marries wood, metal, fabric, and wicker harmoniously by its neutral palette.  Warm aged woods come to life with bee's wax and tortoise finishes are complimented by earthy colors and a mix of patterns. The pop of color from the centerpiece draws the eye to the center of the room.

It is as comfortable for entertaining as it is reading the morning paper with a cup of coffee.  It is my not so formal dining room.
