In addition for having a passion for purple, I love the girlishness of the ruffles combined with the geomtric edginess of the link pattern! At the office, out for dinner this dress is plum perfect!

Oh how we long for Spring! Natures bounty in color and springs call for all things new!
Spring Garden has a romantic sensibility and a casual elegance combining the nostalgic wicker baskets with their patina with the rebirth of green flora fauna.

Driftwood, seaglass colors with a soft patina that gives a feeling of casual, worn to perfection, put your feet up and relax - we're on beach time feeling!

Time to celebrate the creativity of women in the home furnishings industry!
Congratulations to my friend Carol Gregg in winning best of show at the High Point furniture market
for her company Redd Egg.

Raspberry and French country are two of my favorite things about this fall!
My trip to the Riviera on the TGV took us through the French countryside.
The small villages with their old stone and terra tiles have weathered patina which is captured in the home decor we saw for fall at the gift and decorative accessories shows. The raspberry touches add just the right color to compliment the white washed, distressed and moss colors we feel are perfect for either indoor accents or outdoor!
C'est magnifiques!

What's not to love about this fab look for winter 2011?! Let me count the ways:
1. Rasberry - we love it in sherbet and in particular on this gorgeous wool classic
2. The buttons - we told you the pessamentry would become focal...BLING!!!
3. The ruffle gives this a feminie quality that is soft and elegant
4. Color blocked with this terrific black and white plaid
What's not to love?!
And just think of how this transcends to the home.
Black base cloth with contrast welt, rasberry chenile throw and embroidered toss pillows,
oh the possibilities!
